Active house in Lustrup, Denmark by AART Architects

An active house of 200 square meters in Lustrup, Denmark, designed by AART Architects. Active means a house that can generate more energy than its residents are willing to consume. At the same time, its residents are not obsessed with saving energy. They have both a washer and dryer and two TVs. The climate in the house is controlled by a computer connected to a thermostat that opens and closes windows depending on temperature, season and time of day.
