Glass Resort Lapland, Finland by VOID Architecture
The Glass Resort is a resort hotel project in Rovaniemi, Finland by VOID Architecture and Honkatalot wood producers Polar Life Haus. The hotel is a series of wooden and glass houses located in the middle of the Lapland forest.
Traditional igloos have been covered with insulation, and the large windows of these modern houses showcase the beauty of Lapland: dense forest, starry skies and the northern lights. Each house contains two 40 square meter duplex apartments with a living area, a balcony floor with a glass roof, a kitchen as well as a private sauna and an outdoor terrace with a hot tub.
