The Hi-Lo in Portland, USA, gives the impression of a small cozy hotel, but here as many as 120 rooms, several meeting rooms and a fitness centre. The hotel is located in the building 1980-ies, originally built for the commercial premises — hence the large Windows and high ceilings. The designer made a strong impression the combination of the rough concrete surfaces and natural light — this was the starting point in the design. The result was to create a lightweight version of the loft style with a predominance of pastel shades. To balance the brutal industrial style with a gentle mood helped the furniture and objects of wood and gold elements. An interesting way out of comfort zone — get stylish and modern!
