The apartment is on the top floor and the owners did not want to completely close panoramic views. In case when on the adjacent terrace are just having a party in the bedroom there are duplicate dense curtain.
Screen ornaments — light ethnic motives — duplicated at different scales throughout the apartment.

Textile blinds, pleated blinds in the kitchen instead of curtains

Decorative screen around the window
In this apartment, non-standard Windows (less than in the house), and they are located in the middle of the wall (photo of the interior in the state “before” can be viewed at the link below).

The layout of the strips backlit by the window
A cross-shaped form of the attic formed the basis of the project: the premises of this form is beautiful in itself, and architects had only to emphasize the geometry of space. The main elements are illuminated from the inside of the rack wall (including a wall with a round window). They fill the room with light and create an additional term.
“For evening lighting, it is sufficient to include the ends — and it seems that the sun breaks through the walls, filling the space with light. Now the attic is the most bright room in the house!” — tell the owners.

Blinds on the Windows instead of curtains
In the living room and kitchen Windows in the floor opening to the South terrace. The sun is always a lot, but look close not like. Instead of curtains, the designer chose wood blinds in the color of the walls. In bright sunlight the slats a little turn. While still perfectly clear what’s happening outside the window.
“This is a simple functional method when you do not want to close the window curtains from bright sun. I wanted the space to look because the horizon is important to me. Customers wanted to make a functional window sills so they can sit or use as a table and down to put more shelves for books.
