Starra hotel was located here in Indian wells in the Hollywood hills, since the 50-ies of the last century, but since then much water has flowed, and the building, as well as the interior was in need of serious repair. After a recent renovation it is now an elegant and unusual at the Sands hotel with 46 rooms. Project Creator, Martin Lawrence-Bullard, known for his love of eclectic, bold interior — this idea was embodied here. Sands is a lot like the interior in the style of Moroccan riadov and rooms where dwelt the spirit of the 50s: bright colors, graphic prints, Golden elements and recognizable furniture of the time. A courtyard with a pool like the scenery of old Hollywood movies. Very atmospheric!
