Architectural Bureau combined two historic buildings in downtown Portland to create a new Woodlark hotel with 150 rooms. The hotel interior was quite a contrast: the rooms and the reception area is dominated by bright colors and floral motifs, but the restaurant was pretty dramatic, with dark furniture and intimate lighting. However, both concepts combine the exquisite details: marble, velvet, copper products. The hotel ideally situated in the heart of Portland: for example, to the Portland Art Museum is just 700 metres away. Ideal for discovering this interesting city!
